Avigail Ben Aryeh - Director of Marom Olami

Avigail took up her position as Director of MAROM Olami in October 2007. She studied Sociology and Judaism at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and trained to be a professional Tour Guide in the Archaeological Seminars program based in Jerusalem. 
Avigail has been involved in informal Jewish education all her life, both as a chanicha (participant) and as a mechanechet (educator). Her experience includes working in Jewish summer programs in the USA, serving as a staff member on the Young Judaea Year Course program, as coordinator of the high school program and counselor training for NOAM Israel, and coordinator for the training of junior counselors at Camp Ramah in Israel.
From 2002-2005, Avigail served as the community and Masorti Movement Shlicha (emissary) in the United Kingdom. Upon her return to Israel she was the Program Director for the Fuchsberg Center for Conservative Judaism in Jerusalem.  She began her work at MAROM Olami as an educational consultant and also at Masorti Olami as a liaison to kehillot around the world. 
Avigail is married to Chen and is the mother of three children.
