A word from the Editor
As those of us in the northern hemisphere begin to progress from winter to spring, we witness the rebirth and renewal of nature all around us.

At Masorti Olami, we are fortunate to have the opportunity to also witness the rebirth and renewal of Judaism around the world. Every now and then we pause to grasp the dramatic changes, growth and developments that have taken place over the past six years. In addition to Conservative / Masorti congregations in North America and Israel, we now have over 120 kehillot in 35 countries around the world, with several new communities in formation. Our goal of strengthening and empowering our two main regions, Europe and Latin America, is succeeding to develop local responsibility and future leadership for our movement. The strength of NOAM and Marom activities in many countries, along with camps in Argentina, UK and Ukraine, point to a bright future as well.
These developments cannot take place without your personal help and commitment to ensure the growth of Masorti Olami. Join us in establishing and sustaining the option of Conservative/Masorti Judaism around the world. Contact us for more information about Bar/Bat Mitzvah projects, synagogue twinning possibilities, donations in honor or memory of loved ones and friends, and projects in need of funding. Write to: rhammerman@masortiworld.org or mail@masortiolami.org

Please continue to share your activities with us so we can post the news on our web site www.masortiworld.org and in our future e-mail reports. If you know of others who would like to be included on our mailing list, please let us know.
Wishing you all a Chag Pesach Sameach.
