Servicing our Kehillot for the High Holidays

Thanks to a special funding allocation for Pluralistic Religious Services from the World Zionist Organization (WZO), we are pleased to report that rabbis and young shlichim will be servicing Masorti Olami communities that do not have rabbis for the high holidays.

Rabbi Daniel Goldfarb, Director of the Conservative Yeshiva, will be with Shalom Independent Congregation in Johannesburg, South Africa; Rabbi Carlos Tapiero will return to Alicante, Spain for his second year and Jean-Claude Suder, fourth year student at Schechter Rabbinical Seminary, will be with Adath Shalom East in Paris, where he completed a six month internship this past spring. In addition, Reuven (Roma) Stamov will travel to Ukraine to prepare our kehillot and Marom groups for the holidays and Marik Stern will travel to Russia to work with Kehillah Marom Moscow. We are grateful to the WZO for its support for this project.

As always, we are happy to help people find a place to feel comfortable for the Yamim Noraim in one of our kehillot around the world. Please feel free to contact our office or search the Masorti Olami website for more information ( www.masortiworld.org ).
